Injection and Blow Moulding without Mould Condensation
When the surface temperature of an object sinks below the dew point of the ambient air, condensation builds on the object. this problem especially occurs on chilled moulds of plastic processing machines.
The answer to this problem is to create a dry climate around the mould. The
Mould Sweat Protector (MSP)
fills the enclosed mould area with dry process air with a dew point of 4C [39F].
Result: the MSP allows the usage of cold water with constant and optimal process temperature without the trouble of condensation.
As a result the optimal water temperature used for the cooling process can not be realised. To avoide condensation the cooling water tempreature has to be risen. This leads to extended cooling time and reduction of productivity to prevent orange skin.
Blue Air Systems guarantees condensation free production with a mould cooling tempreature as low as 6C [42F] throughout the year, in every weather, in every climate. This means higher productivity and constant product quality.
The scope of supply are the mould dehumidification system (standard units from 500 to 5000 m3/h process air volume) and upon request a tailor made enclosure for the could area of the production machine.
Blue Air Systems uses sliding hoods or easily removable panels with do not handicap the production process.
